Yogurts are a handy and tasty snack to have at any time of the day. There are dozens of options on store shelves and it can be hard to know which one to chose. Obviously yogurts such as Rolo, Milky Bar and Galaxy are not healthy in the slightest so stop being silly and remove them from your shopping basket immediately. Read on to find out our favourite brands of this nutritious treat.

1. GLENISK

This is my favourite protein yoghurt. They come in 8 different flavours such as raspberry, strawberry and mango passionfruit. The nutritional content varies depending on the flavour, but the 150g natural yogurt tub contains 13g of Protein,15g of Carbs and 0.5g of Fats. Glenisk only use milk and cultures to make their products. They are produced using the authentic straining method with no preservatives or thickeners. You can't get healthier than that! This smooth, rich and creamy yoghurt hails from Iceland. There are no pesticides in it as it is made from Icelandic water. Available in 4 flavours and Blueberry is definitely one of the nicest. A 170g tub contains 17g Protein, 22g Carbs and 0g Fat. Available in all leading supermarkets.

Pronounced "fa-yeh" this popular greek yoghurt is thick and creamy. It tastes amazing mixed with some almond butter. Each 170g tub contains 18g of Protein, 7g of Carbs and 0g of Fat. No thickeners, preservatives, powdered milk, powdered cream or powdered protein are used during production making it one of the healthiest yoghurt in our top 5. 5. LAKE DISTRICT QUARK

This is actually a soft cheese but it tastes like a heavier version of fage. A tub is 250g and if you put a scoop of protein powder in it then that will give you a serving of 54g of protein. It's very filling and a great alternative to a post workout protein shake. Each tub contains 29g of Protein, 8.5g of Carbs and 1g of Fat. Available to buy in Aldi.
