What is your current occupation?
I am currently working full time in MyFitt gym where I also do my personal training, and run my own little business doing online training and teaching local classes!

How many days a week do you train?
Six when I can, 5 lifting and 1 cardio day at the minute.

What’s your favourite exercise?(Squats, HIIT, Bench Press, Jogging etc.)
COULD THAT BE MORE VAGUE?Gosh, I'm gonna cheat and name three hehe. I love training shoulders, so give me a good shoulder press drop set any day. For glutes, I love cable pull throughs. Then for mind, hiking is a little love of mine!

Which gym habit that other people do annoys you the most?
I totally understand rest times are important, and you might chat between sets. But when you spend 10 minutes chatting between sets hogging the squat rack, words may just need to be had ;)

What has been your worst gym fail?
The lat pull down is out to get me, on one occasion I managed to have my thumb sticking out a little as I pulled down and full on reefed a layer of skin off my forehead and looked like I had got a punch to the head! Second time, I may have not been fully concentrating…. And pulled it down straight into my nose, the parish thought I had been in a series of fights then haha.

What’s your favourite cheat meal?
I tend to try call them treat meals, cause heck we deserve them! Love a good Dominos and cookies, who doesn’t?! But I once had a giant Kinder Bueno donut the size of my face in Greece, best treat of my life.

What’s your favourite post workout meal?
Oats. ALL OF THE OATS. Mixed with banana/berries/sweetner/protein.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
That's a tough one. As cliché as it may seem, I genuinely think it has been to believe in myself and trust my gut feeling. I wouldn’t have moved into this industry without doing that.

Who has been the most inspiring person in your life?
My mam. She is wonder woman, and despite not understanding all that us fitfam do, never stopped believing in me and supporting all the decisions I’ve made.

Who is your celebrity or fitspo crush?
Linn Lowes & Emily Skye, ultimate girl crushes.

What supplements do you take?
I don’t take too many. A good multivitamin, omega three and vitamin D every morning. L glutamine & BCAAs during/after training. I occasionally use protein powders just to flavour my oats or smoothies; I generally get enough protein without them!

What’s your favourite protein bar?
Square organics! I’ve been trying to cut out a lot of foods high in sweeteners, but these kick ass and they are all organic.

What’s in your gym bag?
Heart rate monitor, ripped weight lifting gloves, empty shakers, lip balm, deodorant, hairbrush, wireless earphones, handcream, purse, diary and resistance bands are always in there. Oh, and three million bobbins and pins

What’s your biggest regret?
Definitely when I changed my mind in 6th year filling out my CAO to do a degree that was not nutrition/exercise related as I didn’t believe I would get the points. I surprised myself in the end! But had not even left myself the option of a course like this, but it’s never too late and I have spent the last two years working on my qualifications after finishing my Earth Science degree in Trinity.
